Two Aids Are Better Than One

If you have a hearing loss in both ears,
you can take advantage of your ear’s innate ability to process sound in the most natural way:
to hear with two ears.
This is called binaural hearing.
Wearing two hearing aids can improve your hearing in noise, create the “stereo effect” and provide better sound identification and localization.

Wearing two hearing aids allows you to hear more sounds naturally because the human auditory system is designed to pick up sound signals from both ears.
Many people also find that listening with two ears is easier and more relaxing than listening with one,
because you don’t have to strain to hear with your “good” ear.
With two hearing aids, you should also be able to turn down the volume, helping to reduce the potential for feedback.
